All Rounder Systems featured in “Island News” – The July-August 2009 edition the Island News, a publication for mainland owners of property in the USVI, reported extensively on our Solar House at Green Cay on St. Croix. According to the article, Bevan Smith, Director of the VI Energy Office, attended the April 20, 2009 Open House (along with 400 others) and was so impressed he now includes slides of the home in his presentations.

St. Lucia Developer Chooses ThermaSteel® for Luxury Home Development – After two trips to the ThermaSteel® factory in Virginia, and many hours of careful engineering and architectural analysis and review, a prominent developer on St. Lucia has selected ThermaSteel® as the principal building component for 300 high end homes to be constructed during 2010 through 2015. All Rounder Systems is the principal ThermaSteel® exporter and consultant for this project.

New ThermaSteel® home started in Estate St. George – All Rounder Systems has started another ThermaSteel® energy efficient home in Estate St. George on St. Croix. This ridge top site has an expansive south shore view and is ideal for a wind turbine which is also included in the project. This 2,000 square foot residence, with pool, will be built from ground breaking to occupancy in 120 days.

DPNR Sponsors High School Tour of the Solar House at Green Cay – On May 7, 2009, All Rounder Systems welcomed senior managers of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) and a group of 25 high school students for a private tour of the Solar House at Green Cay, on St. Croix. The combination of EnergyStar® rated ThermaSteel construction panels, and 5.4 kW integrated roof solar electric system is unique in the Territory. The trip was sponsored to help show the future of sustainable construction and energy management technology.
